Following the dramatic photo of the last night’s fire in New Street, Newport that VentnorBlog published this morning, we now have a video.
This afternoon we were sent this dramatic video – of the ferocious fire roaring through the windows of the house.
Taken before the fire engines had arrived, it’s very clear quite how vicious the fire was, giving a very stark indication of how frightening it must have been, not only for those whose house was alight, but those living in the area.
Our thoughts are with those who were involved. Having experienced a fire in the home, we can vouch for sheer speed that fires take hold at.
