When we put out our “Hey, What do you want VB to do about the elections?” post – we had very interesting and disparate responses.
VentnorBlog commentators were very generous with comments (99 of them), supporting the idea. Twitter followers didn’t give much response to it.
Facebook friends essentially said “don’t put that election rubbish on Facebook”. Their comments made it clear that Facebook is a place for enjoying yourself and that doesn’t include election politics.
We listened, so the individual posts containing the thoughts of the candidates due out later today on VB won’t be going separately onto Facebook or Twitter, just VB.
Only the post that summarises the candidates will go across all three platforms.
VB readers will of course be ‘treated’ to all of the detail. The flow will start in about half an hour.
