The delegated decision on the rise of various Isle of Wight council permits has now been made.
The increase in the Tourist parking permits have been confirmed, as has the idea to keep them in place until the end of this Summer, providing reassurance for the hotel business of the Island.
Replacement bus passes will go up from £5 to £10.
The change of the previous business parking permit to a long-stay permit, now costing £500, has been formalised.

A proposed increase in the Wightbus hire charges have been deferred.
The published reason for the decisions are, “To realise a net increase in income in the order of £2,000 and to align with the Council’s Value for Money strategy and contribute to the Corporate Theme of Delivering Better Services.”
