Open Letter to Bob Seely: It’s Utter shambles of ‘grab a jab’ walk-in Covid vaccinations

Dear Bob

Please take a look at this article. This is the location that is nominated on the national vaccination booking site.

200 doses!!

So we had a futile hour’s round-trip in the car with wheelchair-bound 88yr mother-in-law to the Covid vaccination walk-in centre.

“Grab a Jab” says the cheery poster. People had queued for 3 hours outdoors.

The bookable local centres show availability some weeks hence but then the Website won’t let you click through to make the booking.

So, how many times do we have to make the same trip with the same vulnerable person until we strike it lucky? It’s an utter shambles.

Regards, Simon Baker, Seaview
