Planning Committee reach decision on latest Pennyfeathers application

The long-running Pennyfeathers saga continues today after the council’s Planning Committee members refused the latest ‘reserved matters’ application.

The 904-home development in Ryde received outline approval in 2017, but today members of the Planning Committee were asked to approve the application which addressed appearance, landscaping, layout, access and scale of the development.

Not satisfied with the design and layout
An extraordinary meeting was held to decide the fate of the application, after the previous meeting overran.

This particular application has been lodged with the planning department since 2020, but members of the committee were not satisfied with the design and layout.
