Over the last few weeks meetings have been held to establish the precise format for a new community secondary school on the Island, using the Government’s Free School funding programme.
This will be a small school based on the principles advocated by the Human Scale Education Movement.
New small school
There are a number of outstanding examples of small secondary schools around the country and we hope to bring forward detailed plans during May for a similar school here on the Isle of Wight.
