Police appeal after assault at Newport bus station

Police on the Isle of Wight are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a man at Newport Bus Station.

Between 3am and 3.15am on Saturday, September 14, a 21-year-old man has been attacked by three youths, whilst waiting to get the bus home.

Facial injuries
He sustained facial injuries during the assault and attended St Mary’s hospital where he was x-rayed for a suspected fractured cheek.

He described is attackers as aged between 18 and 19 years old.
