At sometime between midnight and 12.30am on 2nd October a 20-year-old man was walking along Nelson Road, Newport when he spoke to two men and a woman. One of them then tried to take the victim’s rucksack and assaulted him.
The offenders left empty handed. The victim received bruising and a cut to his head.
Description of offenders
Offenders are described as:
A white man, 26 to 28 years old, 5ft 10ins to 6ft, stocky muscular build with light coloured short cropped hair.
A white man, 23 years old, skinny build, dark short hair wearing glasses and riding a dark coloured BMX.
A white woman, 5ft 6ins to 5ft 8ins, chubby build, brown long hair past her shoulders.
