Police have named the man whose body was discovered in the River Medina on Sunday morning.
Nigel Robert Greenyer, 63, from Godalming, Surrey was found in the water close to the Cowes floating bridge just before 9am on Sunday.
Emergency crews were called to assist and it was later revealed Mr Greenyer’s yacht was berthed at Cowes Yacht Haven.
Police say the death is still being treated as unexplained.
