Red Funnel is set to rollout a new website and booking system upgrade, designed to offer a more user-friendly and efficient online experience for its customers.
To facilitate these changes, Red Funnel’s website, mobile app and booking system will be temporarily offline from 21:00 on Tuesday, 7th November, until 11:59 on Wednesday, 8th November.
Phone line open
The company’s telephone-based Contact Centre will remain open for enquiries as per normal hours; however, new bookings and changes will be temporarily unavailable.
To minimise any issues, Red Funnel is advising all customers looking to travel with vehicles on 7th and 8th November to book their travel in advance.
The operator will help accommodate vehicles and customers arriving to the terminal without bookings while the system is offline, including customers who may require flexibility in their travel plans and who wish to adjust their booking time.; however, space will be subject to availability.
Self-service machines
Foot passengers can continue to buy tickets from Red Funnel’s self-serve ticket machines. Ticket Office teams will be unable to process any coupon codes or discounted fares while Red Funnel’s booking system is down, so any customers wishing to buy discounted tickets for travel on 7th or 8th November are advised to purchase their tickets in advance.
Combination rail and Red Jet tickets can continue to be purchased from the West Cowes ticket office as normal.
