Readers would have seen our article yesterday about the Havenstreet War Memorial being listed by English Heritage.
As it was such a fabulous morning, we popped up to the memorial overlooking Havenstreet today and took some shots of the shrine and surrounds.
Before you observe the two minute silence at 11am, why not take a few moments to look through the gallery of images from just one of the war memorials on the Island, which commemorates the lives of 39 Island soldiers.
