Renewed Appeal For Information: Cowes Burglary

Police are renewing an appeal for information after a walk-in burglary was reported in Cowes on the Isle of Wight.

Entry was gained to a house in Castle Road sometime between 10.30pm on Wednesday, August 4 and 8am on Thursday, August 5, 2010.

Items of sailing clothing were reported stolen. These included:

● Two black Helly Hansen offshore sailing jackets
● Two Musto lightweight jackets
● Two Musto MPX sailing jackets
● One pair of Dolce and Gabanna sunglasses in a white case

Investigating officer PC Hayley Connaught of the Isle of Wight’s Targeted Patrol Teams (TPT) said: “Police are continuing to carry out forensic enquiries into this burglary, but we also remain keen to hear from anyone who thinks they may have been offered these items for sale second hand or who knows someone who has recently received clothing matching the descriptions above.”
