Isle of Wight Council is hosting three information events over the next two weeks at three school sites that are due for closure.
The events will outline the council’s proposals for each site once they close for the summer holidays.
First exhibition on Wednesday
The public exhibitions will be held at Gurnard Primary School on Wednesday 6 July, Swanmore Middle School on Monday 11 July and West Wight Middle School on Tuesday 12 July.
The first two will begin at 2.45pm and last until 6.30pm, while the event at West Wight Middle will begin at 3.15pm and close at 6.30pm. They will all be held in the school’s main halls.
All welcome to attend
Local residents and any other interested parties are welcome to come along, and view the proposals and ask any questions to council officers.
Representatives of the council attending this event will not be able to answer any questions regarding the school’s closure or relocation, as these issues have been dealt with separately by the Schools Reorganisation team.
