Rosin Mullins Dance Academy gifts Christmas cheer with free classes

With just weeks to go until Christmas, a kind-hearted Celtic Dance coach has opened the doors to her Irish dance studio sessions for free.

The Brading-based Roisin Mullins Dance Academy,  who recently celebrated Disney dance day, is led by former Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance star Roisin Mullins who appeared on TV’s The X-Factor.

Calling all children and teenagers
All new dancers joining the fun festive Saturday sessions running between 2nd and 16th December, will be gifted them for free in spirit with the festive season. The sparkling sessions offer kids and teens, the amazing opportunity to learn Riverdance style routines from a stage and screen professional, along with popular music video style Freestyle dancing.

Dancers completing the free sessions will be offered the opportunity to train as part of the academy’s show and feis competition troupe.

Worldwide opportunities
Roisin is the Island’s only An Coimisiun-registered Irish Dancing Coach, providing young stars with worldwide opportunities.

Former dancers of the academy have toured in shows, danced at Disney, on TV, and represented England at the CLRG World Irish Dancing championships.

“This year, many families are facing extreme financial difficulty. Some are having to choose between activities, presents and basics. That is why, this year, inspired by my own children’s wish to dance, I am gifting three weeks of free tuition.

“Dance is the best way for a child to improve their fitness, co-ordination and confidence. No child should have to miss their opportunity to dance, especially at Christmas.

“I am incredibly proud of my professional dance work and the achievements of my dancers, so as a gift, I am passing on my skills to the next generation.”
