Tracey shares this latest news from the Miss Isle School of Sip-Puff Sailing
The unique charity set up to give on water opportunities to those who would benefit from the sip and puff method of sailing has received recognition at the highest level.
On 24 May Natasha Lambert, and her mother Amanda attended a Queen’s Garden party where they were able to chat about the work of the Miss Isle School of Sip-Puff Sailing. 
Close royal interest in Natasha, her sailing adventures and the charity came from Prince William, the Duke of Kent and Princess Beatrice.
Last year Natasha, who is only 18 years old, received the British Empire Medal for her fund raising efforts and challenges.
Open afternoon this weekend
Natasha will no doubt be keen to pass on any tips from her royal admirers at the charity’s upcoming Open Afternoon.
This will be held on Saturday 4 June at Cowes Yacht Haven, Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
Anyone who is interested in finding out more about Sip and Puff sailing is encouraged to attend.
Miss Isle School of Sip-Puff Sailing
The Miss Isle School of Sip-Puff Sailing exists not only to give sailing opportunities to young people, but also to inspire others like Natasha to take up new challenges. Natasha’s parents, Gary and Amanda are also keen to pass on their experiences and to help other parents.
Following the visit, Natasha commented,
“I loved the whole day, but meeting Prince William was really special.”
Chairman of the Trustees, Jeremy Dale said
“All of the Trustees are very proud of Natasha’s achievements and it is fitting that these should be recognised with a fantastic day out at the Palace. I understand the Duke of Kent was particularly interested in the charity and its work.”
