Ryan Munt was victorious once again on Sunday at the tenth round of the Isle of Wight Car Club’s 2014 season, held on the fields of Little Pallance Farm in Northwood.
As usual, he was behind the wheel of a Subaru, however this time it was not his own; he was kindly allowed to share Dan Morgan’s Impreza.

Dan Morgan close behind
The duo proved to have the edge over the rest of the field during the day’s proceedings, with Munt heading the leader board with a time of 50.96 seconds on a compact layout that became faster and faster during the early runs. Morgan set the second quickest time, a 52.56.
Chris Wilson, Andy Williams and Russell Hector completed the all-Subaru top five, with Steve Brett rounding out the top six in his Mini.
Close game for female drivers
The battle to be the quickest female driver was exceedingly close throughout the day, but eventually it was Jill Williams (Subaru) who topped the order with a 57.06, with Linda Burt losing out by less than a tenth of a second in her Mazda 323.
Vicky Cox rounded out the top three in her Peugeot 205, and was also mere tenths away from advancing further up the order.

Unique entries during the day included the one of a kind Buggy driven and built by Andy Lee. The vehicle featured borrowed parts from a Subaru, a Lynx Helicopter and a humble boiler!
