At about six thirty this morning (Wednesday) Fire Control received a call from a member of the public who described smoldering and smoke coming from the roof of Ryde Castle.
Three pumps and an aerial unit were dispatched, the normal attendance for a building the size of Ryde castle.
They’re checking for hot spots in the roof.
