On Tuesday 12th November Ryde Harriers winter series continued with a 10k nominuted run which was won by Steve Haines in a time of 54.38 which was 2 seconds off his nominated time.
Second was Graham Skelley in 48.45 which was five seconds off his nomination and third was Phillippa Daley in 53.10 which was ten seconds difference on her nominated time.
Fastest man on the night was Rowland Sillito who ran in 45.10 and fastest lady was Julie King in 45.44.
Gosport Half Marathon
At the weekend eight Ryde Harriers travelled to Gosport to run in the Gosport Half marathon Hampshire road run with Pete Still finishing in 1.37.39, Cherry Shannon 1.40.09, Stephen Lee in 1.45.19 who was 1st V70 to cross the line, Sally Roberts 1.47.40, Phillippa Daley and Abi Cooke both finishing in 1.49.36, Brian Warren 1.53.42 and bringing home the Harriers was John Randles in 2.01.51.
