Members of the Children and Young People Scrutiny Panel will be meeting next week to consider information received from each of the Island’s secondary schools.
They’ll be considering information in relation to attainment, attendance, exclusions and staff absence provided by Christ the King College, Cowes Enterprise College, Island Innovation Trust (IIT) in respect of Medina College and Carisbrooke College and Academy Enterprise Trust (AET) in respect of Ryde Academy and Sandown Bay Academy.
Following bottom of the table GCSE results on the Isle of Wight, Island Innovation Trust (who are responsible for Medina and Carisbrooke Colleges, announced that in response, a restructuring of the organisation meant the role of Chief Executive, then held by Judith Richardson, would no longer exist.
“Judith will now be pursuing opportunities elsewhere with our full support” they said.
