The breakdown
The figures show that Andrew Turner claimed £8,070.54 over the 2013-14 year. This breaks down broadly as £1,465.00 for accommodation; £5,064.79 on office costs; £292.90 for staffing; £1,247.85 on travel.

The travel claim included £541.35 claimed for driving his car at the rate of 45p/mile, most of it around the Island.

The details
The expenses were released on Thursday 9th January, the day before the meeting of the Executive of the IWCA, that was discussing Andrew Turner’s future as the Isle of Wight MP.

The RAF took considerable amounts of photo’s of the Islands south coast, starting from the mid-thirties onwards. They are available from the English Heritage photographic library in Swindon.
Could be worth a phone call.
