We noticed a posting on the Ventnor Permaculture Blog last week which should be of interest to our readers.
With the winter nights drawing in (clocks go back next weekend) now is the time to get busy in the evenings and potentially make some money every Saturday morning.
The Community Cafe in Ventnor is the place to go if you want to make some money out of your cakes, jams, crafts, artwork or your home grown fruit and veg.
Ventnor Community Cafe will take 10% commission from your sales and give you the chance to make some extra cash.
Angie points out in her posting that
In recent weeks it has been mainly fruit/veg and cakes (to eat in or take-away) sold, which have been flying out the door and they are very keen to increase the range of locally made goods on sale.
The cafe is open every Saturday morning from 11am to 1pm. You can get a cup of tea or coffee and use the Internet, make friends and make some money.
Sounds like a great idea.
