The Environment Agency will be holding public exhibitions about the Shanklin and Yaverland Coastal Defence Schemes this week.
Previously postponed due to adverse weather and flooding, the exhibition is a chance for coastal communities in Yaverland, Sandown and Shanklin to provide feedback to the Environment Agency on the proposed options to restore their coastal defences.
As well as the proposals, the Environment Agency will be taking along their popular wave simulation tank and running a free LEGO® building competition for children.
Where and when
The public exhibition takes place at the Clifton Hotel, 1 Queens Road, Shanklin, PO37 6AN from Wednesday to Friday this week.
You can visit between 2pm-7pm on Wednesday (8th), or 10am-3pm on Thursday (9th) or Friday (10th). The venue is accessible and Friday sessions are sensory-sensitive.
If you are unable to make the exhibition, it can also be viewed online.
