If you’re into sailing, a couple of programmes on the BBC this weekend should float your boat.
The Island’s Shirley Robertson will be taking part in a documentary on Olympic Class sailing.
Being broadcast at 1pm on Saturday, it follows the highs and lows of Britain’s medal winners at the recent Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta.
A whopping 1000 sailors from 57 nations took part in the regatta at the venue for the sailing competition for the London 2012 Games in Weymouth.
Shirley Robertson will be going behind the scenes to meet the Team GBR crew members, including the newest support crew member, falconer Brian Williams and his birds.
If you happen to be at home during the day, Part One of Olympic Sailing is being broadcast on Saturday 21 August at 1pm and Part Two at 2pm on Sunday on BBC2″¨”¨.
We understand that both programmes will go onto the BBC iPlayer after transmission.
