Sporting Chance is a charity shop which stocks second hand sporting equipment, accessories and clothing. We need your donations and help to raise our profile!
The charity shop works alongside the Isle of Wight Youth Trust, to raise money to ensure the continuation of counselling services for young people aged 13‐25 to deal with problems concerning relationships, bereavement, anger or the many other issues which this age group encounter. Each young person who comes to us is offered up to six counselling sessions, free of charge, with our professional counsellors.
Try sport without spending a fortune
With your help, we hope to continue to raise awareness of the shop, so that we can sustain our support for the Island’s young people, and in the current economic climate, encourage people to try different sports without spending a fortune!
So if you have some gym equipment, cricket bats, golf clubs or any sporting goods that are no longer any use to you please let us find them a new home!
Feel free to drop any donations into our Newport shop (In Town Lane – next to Pizza Express) We are open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
