Spring arrives early at Ventnor Library

Thanks to Evelyn for this update from Ventnor. Ed

The sky may be grey outside and we are still wearing gloves and scarves, but the Woolly-Minded Craft Club brings a breath of spring into Ventnor Library with their craft work and their happy faces.

Meeting every Wednesday from 2pm until 4pm, they share their skills and gossip over tea, chatting to whoever may come and take a look at their work.

Easter Fair
With the Ventnor Library Easter Fair in mind on the 23rd of March it’s bunnies and chicks and plenty of knitted daffodils to brighten the place up and make it attractive for everyone, especially the children.

International flavour
The group of around ten have been meeting for over a year and have quite an international flavour with members from Columbia, Singapore and Massachusetts in the USA.

It’s very clear they enjoy what they do and, if you are curious, just drop by. You might get a cup of tea!
