With just a few days to go until the Summer Madness event takes place, several fields at Froglands Farm in Carisbrooke are a hive of activity as the organisers prepare the site for the 10,000 music lovers.
The gates open at 3pm on Sunday 30th August and the Home Grown Events team have put together a fantastic lineup of live music throughout the day with Geno Washington and The Ram Jam Band, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, The Gentlemen’s Dub Club, Sawdust Caesers and of course, the nutty boys, Madness, headlining in the evening. Add to that the infamous Jerry Dammers on vinyl duties and you’ve got a top bank holiday Sunday lined up.
We’ve been down to the site and it’s looking great (see pics below). Fencing is going up, toilets have been delivered, parking areas are being prepared as well as the bus drop off point and pedestrian entrances.
No tickets on the gate
Details of site entrances and parking facilities will follow shortly, but in the meantime if you haven’t bought your tickets yet, be aware that the IWC stipulated that no tickets could be sold on the gate.
To secure your tickets for the event give us a call on 898 999 or come down to Suzes Room in Ventnor on Saturday between 11am-5pm this Saturday.
Check VB later in the week for more details on parking, catering arrangements and transport to and from the site.
