Police are continuing to investigate an allegation of assault on a teenage boy in Newport on the Isle of Wight.
It’s alleged the 17-year-old victim, from the Isle of Wight, was attacked by three people in Sea Street at around 4pm on Thursday, June 14, 2012.
He received cuts, bruising and swelling to his face and ribs.
15 year old arrested
A 15-year-old boy from the Isle of Wight was arrested the following day (Friday, June 15, 2012) on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm (ABH).
He was questioned and bailed until July 11, 2012 pending further enquiries.
