Police appealing for information following a robbery in Sandown after being called at around 7pm on Monday 31st January.
It was reported that a group of five or six youths were congregating at Sandown Pier.
Threatened at knifepoint
A 14-year-old boy was approached by two members of this group, one of whom was carrying a knife. Threats were made and the youths demanded the victim hand over his trainers, which he did.
Officers have been making enquiries and are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, saw the group of youths on the pier at this time, or has any information that could assist enquiries, to get in touch with police.
Three teens arrested
As part of this investigation, three boys have been arrested. A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of robbery and possession of a knife in public, and a second 15-year-old and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
They have been bailed with conditions until 28th February.
