Following hot on the heels of Vintage Vacations’ The Mission Hall being named one of the best places to stay over half term, we hear of another holiday offering on the Isle of Wight making it onto a ‘must-stay’ list.
The Lighthouse is the brainchild of Vanessa and Mark Wheeler, who also run the very popular Boathouse Restaurant and their other holiday accommodation, The Crow’s Nest – all nestled in the wonderfully idyllic Steephill Cove.
Rebecca Ewing of the Peugeot Magazine has recently named it as the Number One place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere sexy to whisk your Valentine off to and having been down there last weekend, we’d have to agree, it’s an extremely romantic setting.
If you haven’t been visited Steephill Cove for a while, do take some time out to go and take a look. The Lighthouse may have had it’s objectors in the past, but now completed and being used by holiday makers, it stands resplendent in the small cove adding character to the higgledy piggledy collection of houses and cottages that line the cove.
