Leon Girling's Star Wars Xmas scene

This Incredible Lego Star Wars Christmas display is raising money for Cancer Research

Sandown residents Sarah and Leon Girling are 1970s kids, so when Leon was planning this year’s Christmas display for their front garden he took inspiration from his favourite Christmas present as a child.

It was a Star Wars X-Wing and Leon says he remembers sitting down with his family to watch Star Wars A New Hope every Boxing Day in the 1980s.

So this year Leon has been beavering away building an incredible Christmas display, with donations going to Cancer Research.

What a creation!
The display includes a sit-in X-Wing, nine Lego-style characters and eight large light sabres.

It even has a Baby Yoda (Grogu) sitting in the A-frame tree.
