Get your leopard skin leotards out and thrown on those leg warmers. It’s 80s night at the Ventnor Winter Gardens with original 80s pop outfit, Tight Fit.
We heard the news earlier today (thanks Rodders) and although we’ve not seen any publicity for it, having checked the Winter Gardens Website, we can confirm that, yes, they are billed to play tonight.
Given the resurgence of 80s pop culture we reckon this might be a popular event tonight so recommend getting yourselves down there early if you fancy reliving those classic moments singing along to the likes of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” or “Fantasy Island”
The lineup tonight features the original female singers, Julie Harris and Denise Gyngell and the original front man Steve Grant.
As well as their original hits, they’ll also be dishing out the non stop memories such as “Don’t You Want Me”, “Sisters Are Doin’ It For Themselves”, “Walking on Sunshine”, “Celebration”, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”, as well as medleys of the greatest hits from “Bananarama”, “ABC”, “Blondie”, “The Bangles” and “Duran Duran” and many more 80s favourites.
Tickets are £12.50 or £10 for concessions.
