Tina Harris is the Chief Executive of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice on the Isle of Wight, but you might have been forgiven for not knowing that – until this week.
The County Press and IW Radio have gone very big on the story of Hospice fundraiser Karen Eeles leaving the organisation after working there for what has been reported as eleven years.
How the Interview came about
OnTheWight hadn’t been made aware of the story directly, so didn’t know the details, but given the media attention those two organisations had given it, we thought we’d try and find out the detail of what’s gone on.
The result is an interview of just over an hour that we carried out yesterday (Thursday). As ever, it’s best to listen to the whole interview rather than just pick out sections, but to give you an idea, here’s a range of some of the things we spoke about.
What to expect
If you’re expecting a hard-hitting, confrontational interview, you’re going to be disappointed.
It’s a reasoned, level-headed attempt to understand the current situation and the two years of changes that have led to this point.
