Passengers on the Portsmouth to London line are experiencing delays after a train derailed at the Fratton depot.
The derailment has resulted in several of the lines from Portsmouth being blocked and fewer services being able to run as a result.
Our thanks to Jamie Allen for sharing this photos below of the derailment. He told News OnTheWight that he couldn’t see any passengers on the derailed train.
Speak to staff for further assistance
South Western Railway say that for further information or onward travel advice, passengers should speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
They add,
“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
The lines are expected to be blocked until at least the end of the day (Thursday 5th Aug).
