Wight Fishing will be running two free coarse fishing Taster Day as part of National Fishing Month on the Isle Of Wight. Continuing on from last year’s successful event.
National Fishing Month is a celebration of the sport of Angling and offers unique opportunities for the promotion and protection of the sport.
No rod license required
It is free to take part in our event and no rod license is required to fish on the day. We encourage everyone to take part and welcome anyone who is interested no matter what their age or ability. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult
This Years Events will be held at;
Island Fish Farm, Brighstone on Saturday July 23rd
Nettlecombe Farm on Sunday 14th August
On the day there will be a number of experienced anglers and coaches on hand to give tuition to ensure that everyone who attends enjoys the experience.
Tackle and Bait will be provided for use on the day.
As well as the chance to catch a fish or 2, we aim to promote safe fishing and fish care.
There will be free gifts, prizes, a raffle and refreshments available.
We guarantee that you will catch!
