As with many subcultures, those who do their cars up are often misunderstood by the general public.
Many think they’re just hoodlums who just race around the whole time. Sure there are a few that attract the wrong sort of attention by doing that, but the majority are deeply passionate enthusiast who love making their cars different by personalising them and sharing these tips with their fellow car fans.
Well this evening and tomorrow, there’s an opportunity to meet with them and their cars at the County Show Ground – it’s all free too.
Two of the biggest magazines in that field have confirmed that they’ll be attendance too – Modified Xtreme Magazine and Fast Car Magazine.
Static Meet & Road Safety Event
At 6.30pm this evening (Saturday 29th September) there will be a Static Meet & Road Safety Event.
They’re quite clear – dangerous driving will not be tolerated.

The Isle of Wight Emergency Services (Police, Fire and Ambulance) will be in attendance and will be putting on a display of what happens when there is a car crash.
