This was a top of the table clash with the previous match ending 5-4 to Sandown so Vics were out for revenge.
Right from the start Sandown took control of the game and could have scored three goals but the finishing touch was not there. On 21 minutes Vics made a breakaway and netted the ball for a 1-0 lead which they took into half time.
In the second half Sandown made some wholesale changes to the line up which seemed to un-nerve the Vics line up. Sandown plied more pressure from the off and were rewarded in the 50th minute with a fine taken goal from Oscar Fitzgerald.
It only took a couple of minutes more for Sandown to go ahead in the game with a goal from Antony Kettel. Sandown held this score until two minutes from the end when Kettel sending a cross to Fitzgerald for a great finishing goal.
Sandown now top of the league on goal difference with two games in hand over Vics.
