A public meeting was agreed at last night’s Ventnor Town Council meeting. Ed
Ventnor Town Council wants to consult with as many residents as possible about how the Town should respond to the Isle of Wight Council’s intention to close its library, its public toilets and its lifeguard service.
It has arranged a public meeting for Monday 24 January in the Winter Gardens main hall at 7pm when the Town’s Councillors will be there to listen to residents’ views about the effect of those closures on local life and how the Town and its Council should respond to them.
Anyone unable to attend that meeting can contribute to the consultation through the form on the ‘contact us’ section of the VTC website.
