If you’ve been past 1 Albert Street in the last month or so, you might’ve noticed that there’s been lots of work going on inside. Extensive refurbishment has taken place thanks to a grant funded by the Learning and Skills Council. From what I’ve seen through the window, it’s scrubbed up very well.
We’ve received an open invitation for all Ventnor residents to go along and celebrate the grand re-opening of Ventnor Community Projects at 1 Albert Street, Ventnor.
Ventnor Town Mayor, Cllr. Brian Lucas will be doing the honors with the scissors, cutting the ribbon at 7pm this coming Saturday 3rd June 2006
An informal evening will follow with nibbles and wine.
The question is … will the mayor have gold plated scissors as Jane Mansfield did when she opened the Chiswick Flyover section of the M4? Either way, I’m sure he’ll be looking just as glam!
