Detectives investigating a break-in can confirm that 30 Bestival tickets were stolen after thieves smashed through an office wall and stole a safe at Robin Hill Adventure Park on the Isle of Wight last week (May 30).

hms-bestival-banner-230Along with the tickets the safe contained a limited amount of cash which thankfully did not include any bank holiday takings which had already been banked.

A Bestival spokesman said:

“Bestival organisers can confirm that a very small number of Bestival tickets, 30, were indeed stolen during this burglary. All of these tickets have now been cancelled and anybody attempting to use these stolen tickets to enter the Bestival site in September will be refused entry.

This clearly illustrates the dangers of purchasing tickets via the secondary market and why tickets should always be purchased via our official ticketing partners, including Ticketline and our travel partners, listed at our website www.bestival.net, as well as the County Press shop.”
