Well done to Dan Ross and Mike Hopwood for their Wightfishing Website! – their site has just passed one million hits.
Launched in May this year, they tell VB that a big hit with fishermen of all ages.
The site promotes all kinds of fishing on the Isle of Wight, runs competitions and has a busy forum where members can write about their fishing trips and post photos of their catches.
A quick look at the site proves this to be the case.
Dan and Mike said that they would like to thank everyone for their support and donations. “We plan to hold events, continue monthly competitions through 2011 and be at Riverfest at Newport in the spring,” they said.
