This Thursday sees the return of World Book Day, a worldwide celebration of books and reading.
Redeem Your Voucher
For all school children reading, if you’ve been given a World Book Day token at school, make sure that you pester your Mum or Dad to take you to Waterstones so you can redeem your voucher to buy one the six great £1 books.
What’s On Offer?
There’s the fantastic Jurassic adventure Tyrannosaurus Drip songbook for the little ones, plus some fantastic flip books (twice the fun!) for ages 5+, including a Mr Gum (author of which was on BBC R4’s Go For It last Sunday – still available on iPlayer) flip book coupled with a Beast Quest title.
If you don’t fancy any of those you can always put your voucher towards another book.
The youngest member of the VB team is a big fan of reading, so is bound to have us driving up to Newport on Thursday.
