Wrestling fans were evacuated from Shanklin Theatre last night.
It had nothing to do with the wrestlers being too hot, but smoke coming out of a speaker back stage that caused the problem.
Five fire appliances attended the scene whilst the wrestling fans assembled outside the theatre in the summer heat.
According to the Isle of Wight fire service, they were called to an electrical fault in the dimmer room. An inspection made and no action taken.
