Luccombe Hall Hotel was evacuated last night after a fire was found in the swimming pool pump house.
A call was made to the fire brigade at 2:48am alerting them to the fire.
Three fire engines, from Shanklin, Ventnor and Newport attended.
The hotel was evacuated and searches carried out using two sets of breathing equipment.
By 4:04am the fire service had completed their work.
