To many, Easter means one thing – Chocolate!
Understanding this, we’ve hooked up with top Island chocolate producers – The Chocolate Apothecary in Ryde – to bring you a fabulous prize for our Easter competition.
The Chocolate Apothecary in Ryde
If you’ve never been to the Chocolate Apothecary in Ryde, you’ve got yourself a very special treat ahead. If you have, you’ll remember the lovely aroma as you walk through the door.
Not only do they make their own chocolate delights for you to take home or give as gifts to friends, but they’ll also serve them up to you in the shop – including hot chocolate drinks made with real chocolate.
They are, of course, cooking up some specials for Easter including what owner Sue described as a giant chocolate dinosaur egg!
The prize
When we were speaking to Sue about setting up the competition, we asked her to select something special for VentnorBlog. She didn’t disappoint.
Sue is going to gather together a fine selection of chocolates into a Deluxe box of chocolates – some of which aren’t available anywhere else on the Island.
So you can enjoy them on Sunday – or give them as a present – they’ll be available to be picked up at the Chocolate Apothecary on Saturday.
How to enter
Entering the competition is easy. All you’ve got to do is look back over the VentnorBlog news stories that we’ve published over the previous two weeks or so and look out for a number of hidden Easter eggs.
Each picture of an egg will have a letter in it. Gather these letters and use them to build a word relevant to the competition and pop it along to us on the entry form at the bottom of this page by midnight on Friday night.
So you know what you’re looking for, the eggs will look like this one on the left, but smaller.
Good luck.
