Watching this short video of the Isle of Wight from the air is a great way to start the week.
Shot by Seb Godsmark of SBG Films, the minute and a half video was shot from a quadcopter and shows views from around the Island, many as the sun is setting.
Majestic
The view from on high and the slow motion gives the footage a very majestic feel.
Seb told OnTheWight,
“I went to try and capture a different perspective of the Island, it’s amazing to see different angles on a view you may look at everyday.”
Plans for more
Those who are left wanting more after seeing this are in luck, as Seb said,
“I plan on making more videos like this showing a few more of the Islands iconic sights like the Needles and Cowes week.”
OnTheWight asked Seb how he felt flying his not-inexpensive rig over the sea,
“I’m more relaxed about flying the ‘copter over the water but there’s still that element of risk if something goes wrong.
“However, when you see a shot that pans over the sea it makes the risks worth it.”
We’re not going to disagree with him.
