Just one week since attending a fire a few doors up the road, the Isle of Wight Fire Service were once again in Ventnor last night (Wednesday).
The Fire Service told OnTheWight they were called at 22.43 to a fire, first located on the ground floor of 32a High Street (at the rear of Randall’s Taxis).
Three appliances attended the fire, including the Bronto Skylift from Newport which according to reports was used to rescue occupants from the building.
By 00.45 the fire was extinguished.
