The current Conservative Isle of Wight MP, Andrew Turner, has announced he will launch his 2015 General Election campaign at a press conference on Monday 12th January.
Andrew Turner said,
“We are in a unique position in that we already know the date of the General Election (Thursday, 7th May 2015) because we now have fixed term Parliaments. The statutory “long campaign” period has begun and I want to set out my current thinking so that voters know where I stand on key issues such as Europe, immigration, English votes for English laws, our national economy and key Island issues such as the ferries and how to boost business and employment.”
