If you’re looking for some creative inspiration or cultural indulgence later this week, head to Ventnor (where else?).
The brilliant Undecided Art Collective will be launching their latest exhibition, titled Undecided² at Ventnor Exchange for four days from Friday 29th April.
Once again a quirky and interesting theme has been set for the artists.
Thinking inside the box
Rachael Berry explains,
Huey Lewis once said “It’s hip to be square”, but as artists we are constantly told to think outside the box.
Undecided² is the 12th exhibition by the Undecided Art Collective and the first themed show in which we’ve opted for a format rather than a topic, shamelessly encouraging our ever-growing band of contemporary Artists to think INSIDE the box.
As long as all sides of the work are of equal length, anything goes. Expect an inspiring array of art forms on display, including kinetic paper cuts, contemporary embroidery and quirky dioramas.
Who’s taking part?
You can see work in the exhibition featured by all these wonderfully creative artists:
Fran Heath
Julie Barnes
Rachael Berry
Stephen Butterfield
Holly Cade
Teresa Grimaldi
Chris Jones
Mhairi Macaulay
Maya Malfatti
We’re really looking forward to seeing what they’ve come up with for this theme.
The show runs 5-11pm on Friday 29th and then 10am-5pm Saturday 30th April to Monday 2nd May.
Apologies to the artist for having to crop the poster at the top of our article, here’s the full poster in all its glory
