The Isle of Wight NHS Trust has been forced into working with the NHS Improvement Financial Special Measures team to ensure clinical services become financially sustainable.
Ofsted had many great things to say about the staff, pupils and governors at this Isle of Wight Primary school, which through hard work and determination has gone from 'Special Measures' to 'Good' in three years.
A lack of staff and the provider not being fully engaged in the running of the home are some of the reasons that led to an Inadequate rating for this home for people with learning disabilities.
Ofsted inspectors said "Ineffective governance arrangements, overseen by Academies Education Trust (AET), mean that pupils have been let down in the quality of education they receive for too long".
The CQC find multiple failures during their inspection. They criticise the leadership of the Isle of Wight NHS Trust and recommend it is placed in Special Measures.
