You don’t get the nickname of the UK’s super commuter for nothing. Isle of Wight cyclist, Tim Wiggins, is the UK’S super commuter and clocks up 5,322 miles a year cycling to work.
On a wet, grey and misty Saturday, Isle of Wight cyclist Tim Wiggins set out to cycle the equivalent height of Mount Everest by cycling from Ventnor seafront to the top of St Boniface Down.
A 95 kilometre circuit. An anticipated 15 hours of paddling. A new horizon to chase. Best of luck to Tim Wiggins this Saturday as he kayaks around the Isle of Wight.
Tim Wiggins has swapped his bicycle for a sea kayak and plans to kayak around the Island next month to raise money for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.
